As Rwanda Rising's Injyana Ensembles continue to expand, the Injyana String Ensemble fills a void between the enthusiastic interest in our top music groups. This string ensemble prepares the less experienced musicians for eventually moving into The Injyana Symphony Orchestra.

 

The String Ensemble gives a chance for new players to continue to develop their skills and play as part of an ensemble at their level. We welcome violin, viola, cello and double bass players. 

 

In addition to enrolling in the weekly rehearsals, because of the delicate nature of starting on a string instrument, we are asking for each member of the String Ensemble to agree to also take separate lessons.

The cost is only 25,000 RWF for the entire 2018-2019 season. Members who are in more than one ensemble pay only 10,000 RWF for each additional ensemble. Payment will be due in cash at the first rehearsal.
