Come enjoy the flavors of some hot jazz!  Whether a student or an adult, this ensemble provides an opportunity for musicians of mid to upper level to explore the rhythms and groove of jazz music from traditional to modern.  Instrumentation for a full ‘Big Band’ is available. (Alto, Tenor & Bari Saxes (up to 6), Trombones (up to 5), Trumpets (up to 5), and rhythm section – keyboard, guitar, bass, drums.  We are able to accommodate up to 2 each for the rhythm section instruments.  Depending on response, auditions may need to be held for those positions.  Please note that rhythm section musicians are required to read music.   We have some great music ready to jam on!  It’s gonna be a blast!

The cost is only 25,000 RWF for the entire 2018-2019 season. Members who are in more than one ensemble pay only 10,000 RWF for each additional ensemble. Payment will be due in cash at the first rehearsal.
